(London, ON) – The countdown is on! London is thrilled to be hosting the 2024 Ontario Summer Games starting one year from today. The Games will be hosted in various venues across London from August 1-4, 2024 and will welcome 3,500 participants to the city over the August long-weekend. London most recently hosted this event in 2018 and was scheduled to host again in 2020 AND 2021, both of which were postponed/cancelled due to the pandemic. The estimated economic impact for the Ontario Summer Games is $5 million.

London is excited to announce that for the first time in the history of the Ontario Summer Games, the sports of Flag Football AND Women’s Baseball will be contested at the 2024 event. Another addition to the London 2024 Games is Men’s Softball, which made its Games debut in 2022. Venues for all events are still being finalized and will be announced in the coming weeks.
Volunteer expression of interest is also now officially live. Anyone interested in volunteering at this event is encouraged to pre-register to be notified when volunteer registration opens here.

Opening Ceremonies will take place on Thursday, August 1, at Alumni Stadium located in the heart of campus at Western University. All participants of the Games will be invited as well as spectators and members of the general public. More details around this event will be released closer to the Games.
